Do you work hygienically?

Yes, I find hygiene very important. I always work with clean brushes and desinfect products and tools between clients.

What is cruelty free?

I only work with cruelty free products, with vegan options available upon request. Cruelty free means that a products was not tested on animals.

How long have you been doing make-up & hair?

I started my first make-up class back in 2012. I have been learning and expanding my knowledge and skills through various classes and workshops ever since. And first hair class was back in 2016 when I studied hairdressing. After graduation, I first worked for different beauty brands. But since 2021 I'm self employed!

I have allergies, can I still book?

Yes, we will look together at what products I can use and adapt the look to what works. It is helpful if you know exactly which ingredient you react to. But either way, all of my products are suited for sensitive skin.

I'm very sensitive to texture, can I still wear make-up / hairstyling ?

Yes, we can look together at what is possible. It is important to me that you feel comfortable.

I easily get overstimulated, can I still book?

Of course, just let me know your needs when booking. I will still have to ask questions and discuss the look but you can request a silent appointment with less small talk for example. And for the wedding preview session, you can decide wether you want music or not in the background.

Which languages do you speak?

Dutch - mother tongue English - fluently French - basic Urdu / Hindi - basic

(named after my third official name ‘Tinka’).

Studio Tinka is based in Ghent, Belgium but It’s also possible to book services on location.

At the young age of 14, I found a passion for make-up that only kept on growing.

now, 16 years later, I still continue to perfect my skills and further my knowledge by regularly following workshops and evening classes.

What can you expect?

Booking

To book your wedding date, you can message me through the contact form.

Include as much info as possible, i will get back to your request as soon as possible.

If you have any questions,
I'm happy to answer them.

Your wedding date is secured once the contract is signes and deposit is paid.

Communication

Now it's time to create your moodboard of the look your have in mind.

You can send me pictures of your (hair) jewellry, outfit,... etc

I'll contact you about 3 months before your wedding to schedule your trial.

We will also discuss the timeline and how many extra people want their make-up or hair done.

Depending on the amount of people and the timing, I will contact extra artist(s) to come along so that you all look beautiful without needing to rush.

Trial

During the trial, we’ll discuss your moodboard and create your dream look.

This is your time to explore,
so you can feel confident about your final look.

I like to plan the trial earlier in the day, so that you can see how you feel in it as well as how good it lasts.

The trial takes place 4-12 weeks before your wedding, at my home studio in the centre of Ghent.

Communication

After the trial I will ask you to send me pictures of how the make-up and hair lasted throughout the day.

We'll dicuss any adjustments to the look.

And agree on a final timeline for the morning of your wedding day.

Wedding day

You can wake up slowly and relaxed while i do your make-up/hair on location.

You will get a little touch up bag with bobby pins, cotton buds, a bit of your lip color & powder,...
This way you can do a quick touch up during the day if deisred.

If you want touch ups done or a change of look during the day, you can also book me
for the whole day.

You will learn how to work with the products and tools that you already own.
Of course my procuts and brushes

will also be available for use.

I'll guide you through the best techniques for what you wanna learn and you'll be able to take notes on a facechart and practice alongside me.
